An upcharge is a fee added on top of a quoted package price for something the job needed anyway. Jet Media Productions does not charge one for drone aerials or for twilight exteriors: both are included in every real estate and vacation rental package, starting at $219.
That is a standing position, not a promotion. Tyler Landon, who founded the company and shoots every property personally, runs it on a simple rule: we are a premium provider, and we do not believe in upcharging a client if it can be helped. This post sets out what that covers, what it does not, and why twilight joined the list.
What Is Included in Every Package at No Extra Charge?
| Included | What it means in practice |
|---|---|
| Drone aerials | Flown on every package wherever airspace allows, by an FAA Part 107 certified pilot. Any LAANC authorization is filed before the shoot |
| Twilight exterior | A genuine capture in the 20 to 30 minutes after sunset. Ask for it when you book |
| 24-hour photo delivery | The standard service, not a paid tier. Video tours are delivered within 48 hours |
| Travel | One rate card across all 14+ Central Florida cities we serve. No mileage surcharge, no travel zones |
| Rescheduling | Free. Sellers change their minds and closings slip |
| Weather | Blue Sky Guarantee: a free exterior reshoot in good light, or a sky enhancement labelled as digitally altered |
| Reshoot | Tell us within 48 hours that the media does not work and we reshoot at no charge |
None of those rows is tiered. They apply to the $219 photo package exactly as they apply to the $499 one.
How Is Twilight Usually Priced in Orlando?
As an extra. Our own [Orlando pricing guide](/blog/real-estate-photography-cost-orlando) lists the factors that move a quote in this market, and three of them matter here.
| Common in the market | Jet Media Productions | |
|---|---|---|
| Drone aerials | Included by most photographers, billed extra by some | Included |
| Twilight exterior | Specialty timing typically adds $100-200 | Included |
| Rush turnaround | Typically costs 25-50% more | 24-hour photo delivery is standard. Same-day rush is priced above it |
Put the middle row against a $219 photo package. A $100 to $200 twilight fee would raise that bill by roughly 46% to 91%, for the one frame most likely to become the lead photo.
Why Include Twilight Instead of Selling It?
Because a price tag asks the wrong question.
When twilight is a line item, whether a listing gets one is decided by budget. When it is included, it is decided by whether the house suits it, which is the only question that matters to the listing. A twilight exterior consistently outperforms a flat midday frame of the same property in a grid of thumbnails, and it is the image that ends up as the MLS lead photo, the postcard and the social ad.
There is a disclosure reason as well. A genuine twilight photograph, taken at dusk with the interior lights on, is a photograph and needs no disclosure. A daytime frame converted to look like dusk is a digitally altered image and has to be labelled as one under the rules most MLSs and brokerages now follow. The conversion is a legitimate product and we offer it as an AI service, but nobody should end up with the edited version just because the real one carried a surcharge.
And the cost to us is time, not materials. The extra visit costs the photographer an evening and costs you nothing on our packages.
Does Every Listing Need a Twilight Shot?
No, and including it free does not change that.
| Property | Twilight value |
|---|---|
| Pool or lit pool deck | High |
| Landscape lighting, water frontage or golf frontage | High |
| Facade that never gets good daylight | High, twilight sidesteps the problem |
| Very little exterior lighting | Low, the house will not glow |
Twilight photography works because the building glows. A house with two porch bulbs and no landscape lighting does not, and a strong daytime exterior serves it better.
How Do You Get a Twilight Exterior on Your Shoot?
Ask for it when you book. There is no box to tick and nothing added to the invoice: say so in the notes field on the [booking form](/book), or tell us when you call, and we plan the shoot around that evening's sunset.
Timing is the only real constraint. The usable window is roughly 20 to 30 minutes after sunset, and in Central Florida it moves by more than an hour across the year. Orlando sunset slides from about 7:46 pm at the start of September to roughly 7:12 pm by the end of it, and daylight saving time ends on 1 November, which drops sunset by an hour overnight. Where the schedule allows, book the daytime set and the twilight pass as one appointment, so the house is already prepared when the light turns. Our [autumn twilight timing guide](/blog/orlando-twilight-window-shrinks-fall-2026) has the dates.
Preparation is simple: every interior light on, blinds and curtains open, exterior and pool lights on, cars off the driveway.
What Do We Charge For, Then?
Separate deliverables and separate jobs. Every one of them is on the [pricing page](/pricing).
| Priced item | Price |
|---|---|
| Photo + Video Package | $349 |
| Photo + 3D Tour Package | $399 |
| Photo + Video + 3D Tour Package | $499 |
| Floor plan diagram | $15 |
| Virtual staging | From $5 per photo |
| Lockbox and sign installation | $30 |
| AI photo-to-video reel | $20 |
| Pay at close | Flat $25 on the invoice |
The line we draw is this. A video edit, a 3D scan, a drawn floor plan and a staged image are each a separate piece of production work, so each has a price. The tools, the time of day and the distance it takes to make the photos you already paid for are not.
"If it can be helped" is an honest qualifier rather than a loophole. Drone depends on airspace, and parts of the resort corridor sit under a permanent flight restriction that no authorization opens. Twilight depends on the sky and on the house. Where either one is possible, it is included.
